We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician specialized in Blood Collection for cats and/or dogs. This role is crucial in our mission to provide top-tier pet care, with a strong focus on accurate blood sample collection and exceptional client service. We highly value expertise in veterinary blood collection and low-stress handling techniques, but we are also open to training motivated individuals eager to develop these essential skills. The position is mobile, requiring visits to clients' homes to support local veterinarians and veterinary clinics, offering convenience and quality care.

Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently perform blood collection from pets, following our established gold-standard protocols.
- Accurately document and label samples, ensuring the precision and reliability of every test.
- Provide exceptional customer service, treating each pet and their owner with compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and clinics to support comprehensive pet care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the field and when handling and processing samples.
Experience
- Experience in blood collection from feline and canine patients is preferred.
- Background in low-stress handling techniques is highly desirable, with a willingness to adopt new methods and protocols.
- Must have reliable transportation for client visits within the assigned area.
- Strong communication skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and veterinary partners.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, making informed decisions in a remote work setting.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
- Work location: Remote (On the road)
License / Certification
RVT or LVT (Preferred but NOT required)
